Field-Gloves were developed as an experimental recording and performative wearable piece, drawing from field recording and dyi electronics. Aim of the project was to capture sound textures from the environment in a form that creates a more embodied experience from nature through touch and sound.

Through an interactive experience I wanted to expand the participant’s curiosity for sound. Create a composition with the environment, a moment of embodiment. Manipulating the composition with my body movement and controlling it with a distance sensor, metaphorically questioning my relationship with the earth.
